Hollywood actress Viola Davis is in talks to reprise her role as Amanda Waller in a spinoff series.
According to Variety, Waller will make an appearance towards the end of the Suicide Squad spinoff series Peacemaker on the show.
Davis will executive produce the series in addition to acting in it.
The show will be written and executive produced by Kristal Henry. Henry’s prior credits include writing the “If You Don’t Like My Story, Write Your Own” episode for HBO’s smash hit limited series “Watchmen.”
Davis, one of the most recognized actors of our day, will be seen in her current TV star role. For his appearance in the drama series “How to Get Away with Murder,” he received critical praise and an Emmy Award (out of four nominations).
She won an Emmy for Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in a crossover episode of Scandal.
She now portrays Michelle Obama in the Showtime limited series “The First Lady.”
Davis will play Waller in both Suicide Squad films, in addition to her role in Peacemaker.
