KGF: Chapter Two is breaking box office records left and right. This time, Rocky Bhai is on his way to breaking the record set by Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the blockbuster film “RRR.”
According to India Today, the Hindi version of “KGF: Chapter Two,” featuring Kannada actor Yash, has grossed more than Rs 400 crore in just 23 days.
KGF: Chapter Two has earned roughly Rs. 1,120 crore (gross) worldwide, according to India TV and Filmibit.com (Rs. 1,119.50 crore).
On the other hand, the film “RRR” has grossed Rs 1130 crore at the worldwide box office. In other words, the Rocky Brothers’ KGF2 will break the RRR movie record in no time. KGF2 is the year’s second highest grossing film so far.
“KGF: Chapter Two” smashed superstar Aamir Khan’s lifetime collection record 21 days after its debut (in Hindi). The highest-grossing film currently is SS Rajamouli’s “Bahubali To,” which has a lifetime gross of Rs 511 crore.
Vijay Kirgandur produced the film, which had a budget of Rs 100 crore.
In the film Chapter Two, Yash alias Rocky Bhai is pitted against villain Sanjay Dutt alias Adhira. Apart from Sanjay Dutt, Ravina Tandon, Prakash Raj, and Srinidhi Sethi play major roles in the film, which was written and directed by Prashant Neel.
In 2016, the film ‘KGF: Chapter One’ was released, and it garnered a positive reception from audiences all around the world. The director Prashant Neel and Yash have both indicated that the third part will be done in the continuance of the success.
